A Christian Nation is the brain child of Joni Becker, a short, plump, overworked CPA.  Nothing and no one special, just another child of God.

For years now, I’ve complained, along with just about everyone else, about the fact that the politicians and courts have been trampling on Christian rights and the fact that no one was stepping forward to do anything about it. Then one day the Holy Spirit tapped me on the shoulder and said, “If not you, then who?  If not now, then when?” and the idea for A Christian Nation was born.  At this point, it is a one-woman operation.  A veritable ‘voice crying out in the wilderness.’ My goal is to gather American Christians together into a collective voice that will be heard in Washington. I would like to collect 60 million names on my petition.  Why 60 million names?  This number is over and above the majority of people who voted for President Bush in the 2004 election.  It is a number that should get everyone’s attention. A Christian Nation is NOT a non-profit organization.  As a matter of fact, I am financing this whole thing out of my CPA business.  I specifically did not want to form a non-profit as there are strict operating and reporting requirements that go along with non-profit status.  To my way of thinking, the less the government knows ahead of time about what I am doing the better. Any monies raised through this site will go to supporting the maintenance and promotion of  A Christian Nation or will be donated to charity.
